What an affiliate link is

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the seller pays us a commission out of their own margin. The price you pay is the price the seller lists — it is not increased, and no discount is withheld from you because of it.

How to recognize them

Every affiliate button on this site goes through the address /go/plans, which redirects you to the seller's official website. Those buttons are labelled with what they do — “View the Complete Plan Collection”, not “Buy Now”— because clicking one takes you to the seller's page to read their current offer, not to a checkout. Each one carries a disclosure within sight of the button itself, and the links are marked rel="sponsored" in the page source.

Nothing is charged by clicking. You can read the seller's page and close the tab, and no commission arises unless you choose to buy.

Editorial independence

The commission does not buy a recommendation, and it does not change what we are willing to say. We publish the parts of an offer we think are weak alongside the parts we think are strong, we tell you who this product is notfor, and we do not repeat a seller's marketing claim without saying it is theirs.

Where this site says something is a fact, it is either something the seller publishes — attributed to them — or something about Woodsmith Lab. Anything else is opinion, and it is written so you can tell.

What we promote

This site currently presents one paid product: TedsWoodworking, a digital library of woodworking plans created and sold by Ted McGrath and retailed through ClickBank.

Woodsmith Lab did not create this product and does not sell it. We do not hold the plans, process your payment, deliver your files, or handle refunds. All of that happens with the seller and ClickBank.

How we describe the offer

The price, plan count, bonus list and refund terms shown on this site are taken from the seller's own page and were last checked on 3 August 2026. Sellers change offers, so the seller's order page is always the authoritative version. If you find something here that no longer matches it, tell us and we will correct it.

We do not publish invented reviews, buyer counts, sales figures, expiry dates, countdown timers or struck-through “original” prices. Where you see a claim on this site, it is either a fact stated by the seller or an opinion presented clearly as ours.

Who is responsible for what

The seller is responsible for the product and its conditions: what is included, what it costs, what bonuses come with it, how it is delivered, what support you receive, and whether a refund is granted. Those terms are theirs to set and to change at any time, without telling us.

Woodsmith Lab is responsible for what it publishes on this site, and for keeping it accurate. We are not responsible for, and cannot influence, anything that happens after you leave for the seller's page.

What we do not promise

Nothing on this site is a guarantee of a result. Woodworking outcomes depend on your tools, your materials, your experience and the time you put in. Where we mention building projects to sell, that describes what some people do — it is not a projection of income and not a claim that you will earn anything.
